Promote Illinois Humanities' 2019 art exhibition, created to encourage dialogue on the injustices of our criminal justice system and possible solutions *

  • Created multiple opportunities for reporters to report on the exhibition before its opening day

  • Created a story bank that contained descriptions, photos and videos of artists' preparation activities for the exhibition occurring in different parts of Chicago

  • Pitched different stories in exclusive-like fashion to different reporters

Results
  • 12,000 visitors to the art exhibition in a three-month period.

  • 20 earned media placements within a two-month period
